1. On-Device First & Zero Personal Tracking

SugarReset AI does not require you to create an account, register an email address, or provide personal identity information. Your sugar detox streaks, daily logs, craving triggers, journal entries, and custom challenges are stored locally on your device and synced privately via your personal Apple iCloud container.

2. Camera & Food Label Scanning

When you use the AI Food & Nutrition Label Scanner, camera access is requested strictly to capture live food packaging, ingredient lists, and nutrition facts tables. Images captured during scanning are processed in real-time solely to parse nutritional information (sugar content, net carbs, glycemic load, hidden additives) and are never stored on external advertising servers or used to train public models.

3. Apple HealthKit Integration (Optional)

If you explicitly grant permission, SugarReset AI can sync nutritional data (such as dietary sugars, carbohydrates, and calories) with Apple Health (HealthKit). HealthKit data is never transmitted to third parties, advertising networks, or data brokers. You can enable or revoke HealthKit permissions at any time via iOS Settings > Health > Data Access & Devices > SugarReset AI.

4. In-App Purchases & Subscriptions

All subscription billing, renewals, and payments are managed natively by Apple through StoreKit 2 and your Apple ID account. We do not receive, process, or store your credit card numbers, banking details, or billing addresses.

5. Third-Party Analytics & Telemetry

SugarReset AI does not include third-party tracking pixels, location trackers, or behavioral advertising SDKs. Diagnostic crash logs are collected strictly through Apple's anonymous, opt-in developer telemetry.
