1. Commitment to Pilot Privacy

At kreggscode, we understand that aviation records, logbooks, and flight plans contain sensitive operational and personal data. PilotOps is architected with a privacy-first, on-device design philosophy. We do not sell, rent, or commercialize your flight logs, locations, or personal identity.

2. Data Collection & Processing

PilotOps operates under strict data minimization guidelines:

• Cockpit Calculations: All aerodynamic, E6B, weight & balance, and runway component math is executed purely on-device without contacting external servers.
• Aviation Weather Queries: When requesting METAR and TAF briefings, queries are dispatched directly to public aviation meteorological services (such as NOAA AWC). No identifying user tokens or device fingerprints are attached.
• Location Services: If granted, GPS location is utilized solely in real time for calculating the nearest aerodromes and runway headings. Your GPS coordinates are never transmitted or stored on our servers.
• Pilot Logbook: All flight entries, aircraft registrations, and pilot remarks are saved inside the application's secure iOS sandbox storage.

3. In-App Purchases & Subscriptions

All subscription processing and digital purchases are handled directly through Apple's native StoreKit 2 infrastructure. kreggscode does not process or retain your credit card details, payment accounts, or billing information.

4. Data Retention & Backups

Your logbook entries and custom aircraft profiles reside on your physical iOS device and optionally within your private iCloud storage container. You have total authority over this data and may export (CSV) or delete all records at any time from within the App.
