1. Zero Cloud Document Retention & 100% Confidentiality

ClauseGuard AI operates under a Zero Document Storage Policy:

  • Contract documents, text excerpts, clauses, scanned pages, and audit results are processed exclusively in volatile memory for the sole purpose of rendering your real-time risk report and counter-redlines.
  • We do not save, index, archive, or retain your contracts on any permanent remote database, disk storage, or cloud bucket.
  • Your legal agreements and document contents are never used to train public artificial intelligence models, nor are they shared with third-party advertisers or data aggregators.

2. On-Device Storage & Local Sandbox

Completed audit summaries, risk scores, and exported counter-proposals are stored strictly within your iPhone's sandboxed local application storage (CoreData / local device vault). You maintain total dominion over your data: deleting an audit record from the application immediately expunges it from local flash storage.

3. Camera & Optical Document Scanning

When you use the live document camera scanner, camera permissions are utilized solely to optically capture contract pages into memory. Live camera feeds are processed locally on-device and are never broadcast or streamed to external servers.

4. In-App Purchases & Subscriptions

All subscription transactions and consumable credit pack purchases (50, 150, or 500 audit credits) are processed directly by Apple through StoreKit 2 and your personal Apple ID account. We do not receive, process, or store credit card numbers, payment instruments, or billing addresses.

5. Third-Party Telemetry & Analytics

ClauseGuard AI contains zero third-party tracking SDKs, advertising networks, or social trackers. Basic anonymous diagnostics and crash telemetry may be collected strictly through Apple's native, opt-in App Store Connect diagnostic reporting.
